2. Your opinion should be based on the scenes and/or the narrators#omments presented in the film, not any other sources.

3. You need to present evidence from the film to support your arguments.

4. Do not write about your own feeling and your own opinion on the Buddhaàteachings without connecting to the content of the film. (This assignment is NOT about your opinion on the issue of suffering in general or Buddhism at large. It is about how the film influences your perception of suffering)

5. Do not write a general information about Buddhaàteaching on suffering (by gathering information posted on websites or the textbook)  (You assume that your reader knows it. Your reader wants to know your opinion)

1. If you write on the Buddhaàleaving family, you also need to integrate your discussion with the content of the film. (ex. Indian moral code of the time, his journey of life, his revisiting his family, and living conditions of the son, etc)  For the information of his returning home, you need to watch the video after the first 40 minutes (his actions after enlightenment)  
2. Please do not summarize the film (by using transcription function of YouTube.)
3. In introduction, please signal your thesis or theme of the paper, rather than a basic information about the film or the life of the Buddha. (Ex. Buddha lived in India, etc.) 
4. In conclusion or concluding remarks, instead of summarizing the whole content, you write your thesis of your entire discussion.
