Current Event Analysis 

This assignment is a review of a current homeland security event within the last five years unless approved by your instructor.  Your topic does not have to be approved by the instructor unless otherwise noted. If you have any questions, please contact your instructor. Analyze the event based on the material covered so far in class. You will prepare three to four pages in length (full pages) (not including cover page, charts, graphs, pictures, graphics, or reference pages) exploring the event and any response to the event. An abstract is not required. The paper is due at the end of week 3 and must be submitted in your Assignment Folder. Examples of current events include but are not limited to terrorism incidents, bombings, mudslides or wildfires in California, the COVID-19 virus, etc. Make sure you relate the event to what we are studying in this class.
