WBA IX(March 30)

PURPOSE: To engage critically with Chapter 9 of Who Built America, vol. I. 

PRODUCT: A critical summary of each weekàrequired chapter with all four required elements.

TASKS:

Read  Chapter 9 of Who Built America, volume I, The Spread of Slavery and the Crisis of the South, 1837-1860.Actions”

Each summary must include the following elements:

(a) a short “lead paragraph (Links to an external site.)” summarizing what you think are the most important points of the chapter;
(b) a description of the most interesting person, event, or idea in the chapter;
(c) a paragraph, in your own words, about (i) whether the Mexican War was justified and (ii) how changed the United States for the better or for the worse.
