Final Project: SCI-FI Futuristic World

Overview: 

Your challenge in this SCI-FI composite project is to create a Futuristic World. Take some time to form the idea & narrative. The composite image you make will use multiple photos seamlessly composited together to push the limits of reality. Make this world look believable. Images must be a combination of original and found sources from the Internet. Plan to use six image sources (minimum), but you can use more if you prefer. Also, share if the image is your personal or borrowed source. Finally, include a link to the images borrowed from the Internet in a written statement.

• 11ñ4 in. size, 300 DPI
• Objectives:
• Technical: Exploration of advanced image creation and found image sources to create a composite using Photoshop-selection tools, masking, blend modes, layering, and effects.

Conceptual: Exploration of image-making, the sci-fi futurist world, image appropriation, and visual narrative.

Process:

Spend a few minutes writing about your Sci-Fi Futuristic World. 

Write about the project and share the influence or inspiration.

Search for images based on your idea & narrative.

Sketch out ideas. 

Shoot, download or scan your source images.
