Hi there,
Was looking for assistance on a 3 page double spaced paper. The prompt is:
Explain Lockes primary/secondary quality distinction (reminder: do not consult outside sources) and illustrate it using an example where you are eating some food and listening to music. I.e., describe the qualities youd be experiencing and apply Lockes view to them. Then present an argument/example from either Locke or Berkeley that supports the view that heat is a secondary quality. Finally, present an argument/example from Berkeley that supports the view that color is a secondary quality.
Things to keep in mind,
When referring to the readings, you may either directly quote or else just cite them. Rather than presenting the full citation in a note, you may use a simple citation format, for example, in a summary of the text:
Hardin discusses how painters use simultaneous contrast (p. 558).
or, in a direct quotation:
Hardin says that simultaneous contrast is consciously manipulated by painters (p. 558).
If you do use direct quotations, make sure that you explain the quoted passages in your own wordsdo not use lengthy or frequent quotes to answer the questions.
Do not use sources other than the readings I will provide in a word attachment. Writing must not be copied from a website or from a text. However everything needed to answer prompt is in attachment!
