Question Description
For your final paper, you will be responsible for writing a 5-7-page paper in which you will choose a particular theme or topic and follow that topic throughout the material youve encountered in this course. I hope this paper would be on a topic that is useful and/or interesting for you. You might trace changes in global commerce or communication, explore human encounters, or evaluate the role of gender or race across time, to name but a few examples. The only requirement is that you engage with the materials we’ve used in class, and that your paper discusses the time period we’ve covered in this course (~1500-1850).
