TU Exploration of The Elements of Poetry Paper

paper should be a well-developed, coherent, and thoughtful analysis of two poems (one must be from the assigned poems while the second may be a poem you are familiar with or lyrics to a song or another of the assigned poems). For each poem, you should explore the elements of poetry including speaker, tone, language (including figurative language, diction, allusions, and imagery), structure (including meter and rhyme scheme, or lack of them), and explain how these elements compare to each other and how they shape or influence meaning in similar of different ways for each poem. This paper should have a clear thesis statement supported by specific references to the poems themselves.
