Description
A transmission system via coaxial cable, due to phase delay, introduces a noise equivalent to 1 nW/Km. The intermediate amplifier to compensate for cable losses has a noise power of 100 nW and a gain of 30 dB. Find:
a) signal/noise ratio at the receiver input;
b) the noise power in watts at the receiver input;
c) classify the system (Good or Bad) and explain;
d) the percentage of noise inserted at the end of the system.
