Energy-Star Appliances/LED light bulbs may cost more upfront, but over the long term, you will use less energy and save money. But how long will this take? Use the template to record your findings. NOTE: YOU ARE ALLOWED YOU TO USE THE APPLIANCES IN THE TEMPLATE FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT.

The price of electricity is 13.19 cents /kWh. Hint: make sure to convert to $/kWh

For each both a refrigerator and washing machine, two models have been chosen. One is Energy-Star Certified and one is not. The appliances are similar in all other ways (brand, size, style, etc).
