An individual presentation on a topic relating to one of the key weekly topics from the Social Science and Global Studies part of the course
You should refer to relevant concepts and evidence and each student will be expected to directly refer to at least three relevant academic sources, meaning books or e-books from academic sources (for example, Oxford University Press), or academic journals, which may include textbooks. You may use power-point or other compatible presentational software or other visual aids.
- The presentation should last approximately 4-5 minutes and no longer than 6 minutes. You must be prepared to answer questions about your topic from other seminar group members or the tutor at the end.
You must provide your tutor with an A4 sheet listing your references in advance
- Students will be graded individually. The presentation will be delivered to your entire seminar group and tutor. It will be assessed according to the assessment criteria you have and will be filmed by your tutor.
The presentation groups and precise times and dates will be indicated by your tutor.
