Description
he charts for this assignment, along with the lead and elevator pitch script, should be submitted through Word document (.doc or .docx). The charts should be pasted into the Word document rather than submitted separately as image files.
For this assignment, students can choose to work on the data set used in the tutorial (superstore data) or other data sets provided here.
This assignment will show the results of your initial analysis of your dataset. It should include:
A single sentence identifying the most interesting thing you¥ discovered in your dataset, much like the %ad/f a news story. This %ad3hould intrigue the reader and make them want to learn more.
Two static charts, created using Tableau, that illustrate key insights you¥ discovered in your data. At least one of your two charts should support the statement made in your lead sentence.
To accompany the charts and lead sentence, write an levator pitch3cript for a 30-45 second speech in which you explain why the insights you¥ discovered are worth paying attention to.
Some things to keep in mind:
Make sure your charts have clear, engaging titles that contain the !keaway-essage you want your reader to have rather than a dry, technical description of what the charts are visualizing.
