Southern Illinois University Exploring Airport System Essay
Description
explore a system through a regenerative paradigm, exploring the potential of that system rather than trying to solve a problem. It should be a system that you are familiar with and care about improving or evolving.
To help set the context for your paper, include a brief description of the system you worked with. Describe both the physical nested system (whole, proximate whole, and greater whole) and the developmental nested system (Three Lines of Work), and purpose statement.
Describe your image of your system when it is working with health and vitality based on your exploration of potential and essence.

impact on the local community, economy, and environment. Understanding the ecological
system, neighborhood, and region is vital to making informed decisions about the airport’s
development and its effects on the surrounding community. In this essay, we will explore
using a task cycle to guide the process of analyzing the ecological system, neighborhood, and
the region around O’Hare Airport. Individuals and organizations can contribute significantly
to the community by comprehending the task cycle’s four components!sk, purpose,
product, and processnd the functioning capability needed to complete the work. This will
improve decision-making and pave the way for a more sustainable future for the airport and
its surroundings. We will also look at the advantages of adopting a task cycle, such as
improved work performance and success. These advantages include increased clarity,
inventiveness, and comprehension of difficulties.
In this situation, the task component determines the ecological system, neighborhood, and the
overall region of O’Hare Airport and environs. The purpose part would be to understand the
importance of this knowledge and how it benefits the greater community. The accurate report
or analysis of the ecological system and the neighborhood and region in question would
constitute the product part. Detailed information, visual representations of the data, and, if
necessary, suggestions for improvement would all be included in the product’s specs.
Measures to be taken to obtain knowledge about the biological system, the local community,
and the region would be included in the process element. This might entail speaking with
locals through interviews, studying environmental data, and researching past and present
local policy. People need to know ecological studies, policy analysis, and urban planning to
interact with the material effectively, according to the functioning capability factor. By
employing the task cycle, individuals and organizations can guarantee that the work is carried
out effectively and efficiently with a clear grasp of aims and objectives. In this situation, the
task cycle can direct the analysis of the ecological system and the neighborhood and area
around O’Hare Airport (Rubin & Babbie, 2016).
The task cycle can also result in several benefits for individuals and organizations. Increased
thought clarity can result in improved task performance and better communication. Using the
task cycle can stimulate creativity and innovation, allowing individuals and organizations to
find new and better ways to achieve their goals. Additionally, the task cycle can help
individuals and organizations better understand where the real problem lies in less-thansatisfactory task performance, leading to a more targeted approach to improvement.
The job cycle can be used in the example of O’Hare Airport and the areas nearby to identify
the ecological impact of the airport and the neighborhood. The investigation can pinpoint any
unfavorable effects the airport might have on the surroundings and local communities while
also making suggestions for improvement. This can entail making an attempt to lessen noise
pollution, enhance air quality, and encourage sustainable activities in the neighborhood.
Furthermore, the analysis helps identify areas where the community could benefit from
additional development or investment. For example, if the analysis reveals a need for more
access to green space in the surrounding neighborhoods, recommendations could be made for
creating public parks or community gardens (Creswell, 2017).
In conclusion, a task cycle can give individuals and organizations a framework for carrying
out work successfully and efficiently. The task cycle can direct the process of examining the
ecological system, neighborhood, and the entire region in the instance of O’Hare Airport and
its environs. Individuals and organizations can accomplish their objectives and contribute
significantly to the community by knowing the task, purpose, product, process, and
functioning capabilities necessary to carry out the work. The task cycle can also improve
problem understanding, clarity, and inventiveness, ultimately improving task performance
and success.

work, and play in a healthy and sustainable environment. This will be achieved by
promoting economic growth, improving access to essential services, and enhancing
the quality of life for all residents and visitors. The transformation will prioritize
sustainability, inclusiveness, and collaboration, and will involve a wide range of
stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, residents, and community
organizations. By working together, we will create a thriving and resilient community
that is equipped to meet the challenges of the future. Through this transformation, the
O’Hare International airport, neighborhood, and Chicago will become a model for
other communities, demonstrating the benefits of sustainable, inclusive, and
collaborative development. We are committed to creating a future that is sustainable,
equitable, and full of opportunities for all.
I see a bustling neighborhood surrounding O’Hare International airport. In the
distance, I can see planes taking off and landing, the only sounds I hear are the songs
of Engine. Most airplanes are from United airlines. I am standing in the airport,
surrounded by a bustling scene. Passengers are hurrying to and from their flights,
pulling their luggage behind them. I can hear the sounds of people talking, the clatter
of rolling suitcases, and the announcements over the loudspeaker. Ahead of me, I see
planes lined up at the gates, their engines roaring as they prepare for takeoff. Flight
attendants are checking boarding passes and directing passengers to their seats. In the
distance, I can see planes taking off and landing, their lights flashing against the clear
blue sky. The airport is a hive of activity, with travelers from all over the world
coming and going, each with their own stories and destinations. Despite the busy
atmosphere, I feel a sense of excitement and anticipation as I watch the hustle and
bustle of this amazing place. As I look around the neighborhood, I see a mix of
residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, reflecting the diverse cultural and
economic activities in the area. The streets are bustling with people walking and
driving, going about their daily business. I walk down a residential street and am
surrounded by well-manicured lawns and beautiful homes. Children are playing
outside, laughing, and enjoying the warm sunshine. The air is filled with the sweet
scent of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass.

The activating force is people are struggling in national covid-19 policy which selfquarantine at home to prevent the spreading of virus. And people are against
government due to no income and high cost of foods delivery during lock-down policy.
(by protest and social media)
The Restraining force is the Chinese government wants to stop the spreading of virus
¥cause China has 1.3 billion population and high density of population. High
infection rate can destroy the entire society system so the government lock down the
entire city in earlier of pandemic.
The Reconciling force is the government has lifted the lockdown and no longer
completely seals off, instead, it requires 248-hour compulsory nucleic acid testing.
Every resident must have a negative health report with a QR code and must submit a
travel report to facilitate the government’s tracking in case of COVID-19 infection. This
condition was achieved through many people’s congresses and many experts and
technical personnel conducting in-depth research, and finally, the majority of the people
and the government reached a consensus to solve the problem.
èina’s political situation is highly unified. Under China’s socialist system, each
region chooses representatives to attend the People’s Congress. This meeting extends
from the region to the city to the province and finally to the whole country. The same
is true for instructions issued by political parties, which are accepted and implemented
from the whole country to provinces to cities and finally to regions. This political
characteristic revealed a big problem during the epidemic. The government has locked
down a large area, and people are living under the high pressure of isolation and nucleic
acid testing. Political parties and ordinary people cannot generate consensus and
compromise. When the number of managers handled increases, the management plan
gradually becomes extreme. Many people can’t work normally and have no income but
still have to pay their loans. Societal voices cannot reach higher ups because regional
representatives are afraid of taking responsibility. In the end, the government
compromised and lifted the epidemic blockade. The Voice of the People has been
released.he Regenerative Practitioneraw of Three
OVERVIEW
The law of three can be depicted in the following way:
Each force has a different source and a different quality or characteristic.
The activating force comes from the impulse to produce some thing, some thought, or some
action. It comes from the core value of creating viability and building new capabilities. It has the
quality of thrust or propulsion in a direction.
The restraining force comes from the impulse to have things a particular way, to be unique, and
to be complete and whole. It has the qualities of denying, forming, and utility.
The reconciling force comes from the impulse to provide or increase the value or benefit for all
levels of systems. It has the quality of harmonizing, aligning, or attuning.
It may be helpful to contrast the idea of reconciling with synthesis, compromise, and
consensus.
Synthesis: The idea behind a synthesis is the combining of elements into a single or unified
entity. It does not necessarily require consideration of the greater whole.
Compromise: A settlement of differences by mutual agreement, which involves an
adjustment of conflicting claims and represents an intermediate or modified concession,
different from the settlements that each party originally sought.
Consensus: A settlement that comes about when two or more individuals or groups agree
to submit willingly to the decision or opinion of the majority. Consensus can be reached
when we agree generally, even if we don agree on the specifics of approach. We agree to

comply with the thinking of the others in a group and to speak or act as one voice or body
on a topic. As with compromise or synthesis, consensus does not require that we take the
greater whole into consideration.
Reconciling: While the concept of three forces is an ancient one, the term “reconciling”
emerged from the Church in the sixteenth century. Itàinitial use was to describe the
alignment of oneàinner self and thinking with oneàGod. It meant to align the inner with
the outer or the lower with the higher. More recently, it has also been used to mean the
alignment of a part of a system with the greater whole, such that the greater whole and its
parts are in harmony.
THEORY BASE FOR THE LAW OF THREE
What is it?
The Law of Three is the mental model for the occurrence of creation and manifestation.
What Is Its Value?
Used as a framework, the Law of Three helps us understand and develop creative ideas in order
to address difficult problems and situations and to ensure that we can bring these ideas into
existence, rather than just wish or hope for them to happen. It is especially useful in situations
where it is important to:

resolve conflicts,
deepen understanding,
create alignment among groups or individuals, or
develop effective plans.
When we are able to work with this framework in our minds, we can create a value for working
together toward highly creative solutions and creations that serve all of the levels of a living
system. Use of the Law of Three can result in more effective and meaningful interactions and
planning, while creating a culture in which everyone is focused on moving ahead with a higher
degree of alignment and with what best serves the greater wholes.
How Does it Work?
We make it work by consciously holding conflicting or even paradoxical ideas in mind at the
same time, while still allowing mental space for an idea to enter that is better than either of the
conflicting ideas. For example, if you and I are disagreeing with one another, I put my idea and
yours in my mind at the same time and consider them both to be of value, which makes
possible the emergence of a third idea, better than either of our previous ideas or ways of
thinking. We have to allow the possibility that we might both be right or both have valuable,
though different, thoughts.
Hypothesis: Restraining forces stimulate achievement and creativity to the degree they are
valued and degrade achievement as they are seen as blocks or impediments.

What is Required of Us for this Process to Occur?
Reconciliation occurs when we are able to observe ourselves and our thinking and to hold the
two ðposing&orces (activating and restraining) in the mind while considering what benefit is
required by the greater whole or proximate whole to achieve its purpose. This requires us to
have the capability to notice the attachments we have to any one of the forces and be able to
diminish our attachment to this force.
Hypothesis: In any change process it is always possible to observe the Law of Three existing
at any time, as a whole, and as a collection of impulses that represent activating,
restraining, and reconciling forces. In order to bring about a creative improvement in a
developmental way, we must be conscious of these forces and the influence they have on
us and on any situation.
