I’m working on a psychology discussion question and need the explanation and answer to help me learn.

What characteristics define personality? When you read about the different theories of personalities, what two theories did you most identify with and why? What is the difference between extroversion and introversion? What are you? Some people like to talk to other people, and some people like to sit at home, and some people like to try new things !nd it just doesn’t seem like the kind of thing that the early approaches to psychology, like behaviorism, or even cognitive science today, can explain very easily. But that seems like exactly what we want to know: why people behave differently in different situations. Why do you think you behave as you do? How is it based on your predisposition to handle certain situations in certain ways? These are such interesting topics, and they are really at the core of psychology. Why do people do what they do? Do you think there are environmental influences on personality? Defend your answer. Is high self-esteem a good thing? Explain.
