Field study on influence. Carry out a field study of influence based on an idea presented in the text. Three possible examples: A) Ask passersby to sign a petition, and in some cases have a friend model compliance just before the subject passes; B) Arrange for groups of people ranging in size from 2 to 10 to stare up at the top of a building, and note how many passersby join in the staring; C) Wearing a groundskeeper clothes or regular clothes, order people to get off the grass. Note: Be systematic and careful in your observations. Note: do not perform any action that could in any way endanger, harm, or annoy yourself or others (Play it absolutely safe or you will not receive credit for this assignment). Important: do this with COVID-19 in mind! Collect at least 10 observations. Summarize 1) The hypothesis the study in trying to test, 2) The sample, procedures and measures you used, and 3) Results. If possible put your results in the form of a graph. Be sure to address whether or not your results support the idea presented in the text (and how you know this). This project is one you may choose to do in pairs with a hidden second person recording responses, but remember that you each must collect at least 10 observations
