Discuss  the character strengths measured in the VIA and how do they relate to  well-being, happiness, and life satisfaction? (p. 39-40).

Which character traits are your highest?

What would you like to improve in terms of your character? Why? Why not?

  • What have you experienced related to this in your own life or observed in the lives of others?
  • What suggestions resonated with you regarding how to build greater well-being?
  • responded to two peers.
  • peers  1 I am excited to be able to start this week with a great topic about  values in action, the truth is that it is something new for me but at  the same time, I feel that it is something familiar to me because I like  to talk about the strengths it has each person. First of all, I want  you to know about the definition of what this discussion is about, that  they were created by great people who have left a great legacy.  èaracter strengths are a core and foundational part of who we are, a  collection of positive individual character traits that we all possess  and that are linked to our development, wellbeing, and life satisfaction  (Niemiec, 2013). They are our key capabilities, influencing how we  think, act, and feel and representing what we value in ourselves and  others(Catherine Moore, 2020, p.5). How interesting how this  evaluation leads you to so many things and is related in three  fundamental parts: when we feel good and that leads us to happiness and  then to feeling satisfied with what we have achieved with our lives. how  important personally, I consider that my specific strengths are two  with which they are super high and that I feel proud of it since being  honest and being very human has led me to incredible things but clearly  some things are not very good and sometimes I have a hard time  self-regulating in certain ways because you always have to be 50 and 50  in everything we do and I feel like it’s the best advice I’ve ever  received. I feel that having our strengths defined is beneficial even in  the work area because I have seen it with others in the sense that such  a person has positive work experiences. I want to finish with this that  caught my attention a lot, which has to do with using strengths to  improve your mental well-being, sing your signature strengths (those  most core qualities of your identity) leads to long-term increases in  happiness. Using your signature strengths is connected with long-term  decreases in depression.Your character strengths act as buffers, helping  to protect you from anxiety and depression(Ryan Niemiec, n.d,  p.4).WC:370.REFERENCES:Catherine Moore.
