What is the most compelling reason you would give someone for taking a course in urban sociology and why?

This class was interesting. I learned about some things that I would have never paid attention to if I would have never taken this class. I would recommend this class because it is important to want to focus on group behavior within different cities. This class would give others an understanding of how to get along with one another in spite of dislikes and differences.

For the second question, take a look at the “Cityscape” article entitled “Toronto Plans Its Future”, what is your impression of the plan? Do you think it’s something other cities should adopt?

The plan “Toronto Plans Its Future” was interesting. I personally would want to live in a city that is beautiful to live in, safe for my family, and has a ton of activities. It would be nice if other cities adopted this idea because a good city consists of beautiful well-kept parks, homes, shopping centers corporate buildings etc. “Great cities not only have great buildings—but the buildings work together to create great streets, plazas, parks and public places.
