• Watch the You Tube video provided under Module 3 and respond to the following questions: Using your text as a reference, what is true motivation and how does it affect emotion? After watching the video, analyze what motivated you in your life to pursue your highest priorities. Is there one defining motivator or many? (Chapter 10)

Do you feel that fear is an unpleasant emotion? Knowing that most people feel fear as an unpleasant emotion, how can fear be seen in a positive manner? Use a comparison of the James-Lange and Cannon-Bard theories in your response. (Chapter 10)

Although the majority of sexual dysfunctions have a physical basis, they are also related to psychological concerns as well. Discuss the role of stress, anxiety, and depression on the impact of sexual behavior and use your findings to interpret the prevalence of sexual disorder. (Chapter 11)

According to the article was published by the American Psychological Association in May 2010 titled, “Parenting Expert Warns Against Physical Punishment,” what is the difference between physical punishment and child abuse in the state of Florida? Are there any benefits to physical punishment? What are the acute and long-term effects of physical punishment? Please use examples and facts from your text and/or apa.org. 2. Cite examples and definitions from the text. Which child-rearing style is most likely to be associated with the use of inductive discipline, and why? How would you classify your parents#hild-rearing styles? What factors might have influenced their approach to parenting? (Chapters 6, 7)
3. A person is in an accident and has some sort of brain damage affecting memory. Evaluate the possibility to relearn previously learned information and learn it faster. What are some examples of this?  Reflect on whether memories ever really gone or simply forgotten. (Chapter 7)
4. Compare and contrast the biological and environmental influences when it comes to areas such as intelligence and language or is a combination of both more feasible? (Chapter 9)
5. With the advancement in technology, the way we understand cognitive psychology has changed. In your experiences, how have you see your classrooms or educational settings change as a result of what psychologists know about intelligence, thinking, problem-solving, and language? (Chapter 8)
