Now that you have worked through some of the basic fundamentals it is time to think about your job search plan. In this job search plan, you will reflect on some of our previous modules and begin to think about how you will put this all together to achieve your career goals. As you put together this plan please consider the following elements:

• What steps will you take to research the job market?
• Based on your research what are 3 – 5 companies that you want to target?
  • (reminder – think about the organizational culture and consider what you value)
• What skills and qualities do you want to highlight? Are your job search materials all updated (resume, cover letter, reference list, etc.)
• How will you leverage or incorporate LinkedIn
• How will you leverage your Northeastern network
• Have you identified/joined any relevant professional associations or groups in your field
• What tools and resources at Northeastern do you plan to leverage
• What is a reasonable timeline (include key milestones)
