This article reviews some the key concepts that are used to talk about racial inequities such as systemic racism, intersectionality, and opportunity structures. In addition, the authors review how systemic racism has played a role in some of our major social institutions such as housing, education, health care and law enforcement. Key research findings are listed as well. 

From all that you’ve read, what would you say are the main points someone needs to understand to discuss the scholarship on racism.  I am asking that you summarize the authors’ ideas and then prioritize those you think are most important.
