I’m working on a writing presentation and need a sample draft to help me study.

Each student should attend a diversity related event (event must be approved by instructor PRIOR to doing the assignment). Examples include a church service that is different than you have ever attended (if you need suggestions, see instructor); eat at a restaurant that typically serves a different clientele than you are familiar; go to a campus event hosted by an organization such at the Black Student Union, the Pride (LGBTQ) Student Union.

Then, respond to the following prompt…

• Consider all that you learned in this class through lectures, class discussions, service learning and attending a diversity event. Name one thing that you can apply to your future career as a sport manager. BE SPECIFIC and DETAILED. Select a job or sector of the sport industry that you aspire to work in and apply the concepts/experiences that you have had in class to a work situation. Draw on at least 2 elements of the course in your response (i.e. Diversity Event and Service Learning OR Service Learning and Lectures OR Lectures and Discussion, etc).
• Successful completion of this project requires students to prepare a 750+ word document
