CSUN 3 Environmental Change Management Discussion

The topic for the final exam is what can be done about climate change? Remember to view the ppt from last week that discusses format but a summary of that follows. The format follows the process we have been developing all semester. Issues from both pro and con (these will includes some of the topics you have written on since the midterm). Then values that support each set of issues (the sides will typically be govt, big business, national economic interests on one side and environmental related interests on the other). Common values will be discerned and then on to creative strategies. This is where the adjustment of the format will occur. The strategy section will comprise three sections: global/national, regional/ group, and individual/typical college student. The global section will include defining the 6 options as summarized by Jenkins in the readings (one sentence or so on the definition along with a comment on type of nation wins and which loses). Do this for each option. Since all the options have strengths and weaknesses, then you will creatively combine two options so that the strength of one option mitigates the weakness of the other. Part 2 will be to strategize at the regional or organization level (3 strategies here). And finally at the individual level what could a typical college student do (4 strategies here). Good luck.
