Instructions

1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
2. Watch these short videos:

   2. Science and Religion by William Lane Craig
3. Review the Clinical Decision Making Model document.
4. Navigate to the threaded discussion and respond to the following questions:
   1. What have you been taught or come to believe about the relationship between faith and science? How has it been helpful? How has it caused confusion or tension for you as a Christian or person of faith?
   2. Identify and explain 1 key idea from the videos that can help you as you consider the role of evidence and evidence-based treatments in social work.
   3. As everyone knows, data and evidence can be presented in ways to support almost any idea. Truth claims of any kind must be researched and weighed. Explain how you will examine the truth claims of theories, ideas or practices as a social worker based on the Clinical Decision Making model provided. What role will your faith and the Bible as Godàrevealed truth play in your approach as you make these decisions?
   4. How can you use one or more ideas from the videos in working with clients of faith who may be suspicious of evidence based practices or what they may see as non-faith based treatments? Explain.
5. Your initial post is due by the end of the fourth day of the workshop.
6. Read and respond to at least one of your classmates0ostings, as well as all instructor follow-up questions directed to you, by the end of the workshop.
