In this week’s discussion you will be sharing your thoughts from last week’s
assignment. Just to refresh your memory the questions from that assignment were:
“What was your general reaction to the two San Francisco Chronicle articles
regarding the “Applications and Ethics of DNA Analysis? Do you think the uses of
DNA analysis in these cases was right or ethical? How would you feel if someone
you did not know approached you and said that they had found you (for whatever
reason) through a DNA database”?
Please answer the questions above in a discussion post to other students. Your first
post (7 points) is due by Wednesday at midnight. If your first post is late (after
midnight on Wednesday) 5 points are automatically deducted. Any time before
6 PM on Sunday you should respond twice to other students’ posts (4 points
each).
Your posts do not have to be long, but you should write in complete sentences with
correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Please do not just copy and paste your
written assignment from last week into the forum. You need to write something new
for the discussion.
