Organizations often use different applications within an enterprise network architecture. For example, in the previous assignment you researched ERP systems. For some organizations this may be customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Different organizations may vary in the types of applications depending on the organizational needs, budget, and a variety of other factors. Please ensure the actual names of your participants and participant’s company are kept confidential. This assignment helps you learn why an organization may use one type of application over another.

Write a paper from interviewing two (2) end-users who may be employed at different organizations using either an ERP, CRM, or another type of application that is part of an Enterprise Network Architecture. The company names and individuals do not need to be identified. Address the following in your paper:

What type of type of application is being used?

Were there alternative considerations? If so, what were they and why was the current application selected?

• What were some of the other concerns when deciding on an application?
• Was process flow considered when choosing a certain type of application and how important was process flow with deciding on the application?
• What are some of the limitations that were present with the previous application that the new application has addressed?
• Why do you think it is important for a business to be proactive in selecting different applications to align various business processes?
• Support your paper with at least five (5) resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included. Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
