a0c97019a.pdf, and I found it on Google. To find I used the keyword migration. I type in
migration of Armenians to California in the 70s and 80s on Google search and found several
sources out of the search. I perused all the articles from the search. Upon perusing all the articles
of the search, I settled on this particular one since it contained all the information from a site that
I felt was academic and valuable.
The document is titled ‘But Why Glendale? A History of Armenian Immigration to
Southern California.’ The author of the paper is Daniel Fittante. Unfortunately, the document is
not dated. In the article, the author focuses on account of Armenian migration to Southern
California (Fittante, n. d.). I found the article on Google through a search. The intended audience
is the learning fraternity, primarily those in colleges, to learn about the story of the migration of
Armenians to Southern California.
The other sources that could complement this document to help me contextualize it more
include ‘The Armenian Diaspora: Migration and its Influence on Identity and Politics’ by
Monique Bolsajian and ‘Armenian American’s Immigration to California’ by Harold Takooshian.
The two sources shed light on the issue of the migration of Armenians to Southern California.
The sources might connect to an idea for my research topic since they all focus on my research
theme and offer relevant and reliable information on the topic.

The article by Fittante presents a brief account of Armenian migration to Southern
California and clarifies why Glendale has become the globe’s most demographically intense
Armenian diasporic center. The author does so by positioning the history of Glendale’s Armenian
group in an intricate matrix of global, national, and local happenings. Armenians characterize a
significant part of the history of Los Angeles. Fittante explores the internally diverse Armenian
Angeleno society1. To support his thesis, the author uses evidence from other sources authored
by reputable authors in the field. The article will provide relevant and useful information for
completing my project.

reputable authors in the field. The article will offer relevant and valuable information for the
completion of my project.

States. Victories over adversity have dotted the extensive history of the Armenian country. The
pronounced Armenian relocation to America started in the 1890s3. Armenians have established a
pattern of slow assimilation and rapid acculturation all over the diaspora. To support his thesis,
the author uses evidence from other sources authored by reputable authors in the field. The
article will provide relevant and useful information for completing my project.
