After viewing the videos, other materials, and based on on your own examination of peer-reviewed sources, what are your thoughts about the spread of disease through intravenous drug use?

After viewing the videos, what are your thoughts on the new drugs that are being developed to combat the disease? Why do you think that addicts continue to engage in risky behaviors knowing the risk of contracting diseases such as Hep C?

Although treatable in most cases, Tuberculosis has evolved into several strains which are highly resistant to drug treatment that results in over a 60% death rate. After watching the videos, why is this concerning in regard to addiction?
