Assume that a company is conducting a quality control inspection on a batch of 20 products. The
probability of any one product passing the inspection is 0.8.
a) Find the probability that exactly 15 products pass the inspection.
b) Find the probability that more than 15 products pass the inspection.
c) Find the probability that at most 15 products pass the inspection
I actually found that coming up with real world problems like this is kind of fun, and also
showcases how this information can possibly used everyday. Good luck with the rest of the week

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well this evening. For this weekàdiscussion I have
chosen to use ice cream flavors that i think every adult could use a scoop of ice cream
sometimes! I hope that the format of this question is correct. This is a really challenging week for
me.
1. If I were to pole 20 people and give them 3 choices of ice cream to be most desirable Vanilla,
chocolate, or strawberry. What is the likely hood chocolate is more desirable than vanilla if
strawberryàpopularity is 6/20 people?
2. What is the probability that more than 10 people will choose vanilla?
3. What is the probability that more than 5 people will choose chocolate?
