SCi-225 Module 6: Discussion: Energy Sources of the Future
Description
Most of Module 6 focused on energy sources which are currently commercially viable, such as oil, natural gas, solar, and wind. Conduct research online to find other potential energy sources which are lesser known or still in development. Select one of these new energy sources and share your findings by answering the questions below.
Where is the energy derived from?
How is the energy derived from this source? Describe any related processes and include photos if needed (remember to include a citation for any photos used).
How common is this energy source around the world?
- How long has this energy source been in use or in development?
- Describe the potential problems or drawbacks to using this type of energy.
- What are the future projections for the use of this energy source on a commercial scale
